First solid guest for weekend 2

 

top 5 sets from the weekend at Coachella were(no order):

Ca7riel & Paco Amaroso, Clairo, Charli XCX, Lady Gaga and The Marias.

honorable mention goes to Weezer and LA Philharmonic.

 

Apparently Ed Sheeran killed it. Completely solo with pedals, loops and guitar. I'm definitely gonna seek it out after the weekend

 

was a great set. It made me reminisce why I love weekend 2 so much more lol.

 

DARKSIDE firing out the gate with an A1 jam and switching up from last weekend’s setlist, hell yeah.

 

LA Philharmonic switched it up while still having Laufey and Ca7riel & Paco guest appearances.

they added Natasha Bedingfield, Dave Grohl and Cynthia Ervo.

 

Having Dave Grohl in here makes me hopeful for a Nirvana set with Post Malone the same way they did at SNL. I was thinking on seeing XG but I will take the chance with Posty.

 

I wouldn't bet on that honestly, I think post is pretty set in just doing his country thing

 

I saw some crowd shots of Travis Scott and it seems fairly empty. Is it because of his time slot or because he just does not have the draw these days?

 

His show was kinda meh when I watched it last night

 

Green Day and Charli were emptier as well vs weekend 1. I don’t think this weekend sold out

 

Still debating if tomight I should see Post Malone or Amyl and the Sniffer, and XG

weak setlist weekend 1 and no guests probably didn’t help him.

also it was probably like mid 60’s last night with some wind so it was probably freezing for a lot of people.

 

above and beyond, horsegiirl, mau p, and Amalie lens all pulled crowds away from Green Day last night. It was packed at the beginning but we left about 15-20mins in to goto Amelie Lens and people were leaving in droves.

Travis had about 3/4 size crowd of Green Day from the polo sign, Charli had the most engaged and wildest crowd of the weekend so far.

also, everyone being able to get on stage at Quasar and dance is really underrated! Kaskade x Idris Elba was such a party last night.

 

I also read some silly TikTok went viral saying The Weeknd would be at the Ferris wheel at midnight. a bunch of people stood there at midnight waiting for him to show up which of course he never did. He just had too much going on during his time.

 

going back to weekend 2 for sure

 

I'll be back... if the lineup pleases me

 

Fun weekend. It was my first Coachella and I would totally do it again.

My favorite sets in no specific order were
Friday: Kneecap, The Prodigy, Lady Gaga
Saturday: LA Phil, Ed Sheeran, Viagra Boys
Sunday: Wisp, Snow Strippers, Soft Play

 

Pre-sale in like two weeks and I’m going back to weekend 2 FOR SURE

 

the line to get into kneecap weekend 1 was insane. It got to the point where people started trying to sneak in through security in other doors and they had to put more security to block people from getting in.

I ended up giving up on trying and walking to some other set.

 

Same thing happened on W2. I saw people rushing the exit/security doors and when I was going to try and sneak in securty stepped in lol

But line wasnt terrible, maybe I missed 4 songs, and once insisde it was a blast!
