I finally got into Coachella listening mode like a few weeks ago so here are a few of the acts I am now super interested in besides a bunch I listed before: Jungle Black Country New Road Chappell Roan Gesaffelstein Oneohtrix Point Never
Gonna need a dl of Lana's set because there's no way I'm staying up til 3 am or whatever to watch it lol
After looking at that, I'm realizing my initial hype was heavily based on wanting to see No Doubt and Sublime, but not enough to go to this. I am aware of maybe less than 50% of these bands and listen to probably 25% of them. I know No Doubt said this was a one off, but would love to see them on some other festivals/tours in the future.
I really wish you could get single-day passes for Coachella. The Saturday lineup has the most people I wanna see and the schedule is literally perfect. No overlap over any acts and it would be a solid day for me. Ah well. Also, Blur only getting an hour set is criminal
Friday schedule: Narrow Head Late night drive home Young Miko Chappell Roan Sabrina Carpenter Deftones/Tinashe Lil Uzi Vert/Bizarapp Black Country New Road Peso Pluma Justice Lana Del Rey Saturday: Militarie Gun The Aquabats Destroy Lonely Kevin Abstract Blxst/Bleachers Grimes/Blur Oneohtrix Point Never Ice Spice/Jungle Sam Gelliatry/ISOxKnock Gesaffelstein/Le Sserafim Tyler The Creator Sunday: DJ Seinfeld Flo Taking Back Sunday Renee Rap/Carin Leon Victoria Monet Tems/Barry Can’t Swim/J Balvin DJ Snake/Lil Yachty/Atrarashi G Doja Cat John Summit
The ones I had paired together I am just going to have to make an executive decision because I really don’t feel like doing a bunch of half sets but Saturday is absolutely stupid brutal and I’m sad
The sound is loud enough at Coachella that I never really hear talkers tbh Now I have bad memories of watching Radiohead for the first time (my #1 band) at Outside Lands 2016 and how bad the talking was there
Outdoor Theatre is atrocious for talking…Phoebe and a couple other sets over the years at that stage were ruined by talking.
I saw Blur at their Pomona warmup show last night and it was fuckin’ incredible. If you’re on the fence about seeing them this weekend or next, SEE THEM. I mean, I’m kinda biased because I’m a big fan, BUT STILL
I wanna see them but goddamn they are in the absolute blood bath of Saturday night. There’s like 6 or 7 acts I wanna see in that block.
it was before Born To Die came out so she hadn't developed stage presence or a name yet so she didn't make the best first impression and Kristen Wiig made fun of it afterwards
One of the voters for the Grammys said they will never ever vote for her again after that SNL performance from 2012.
