Maybe Oasis but I really doubt that’s worth the likely ensuing headache and wonder if they will actually pull through with their performances
I think an amazing headliner / semi-reunion would be a set billed as "Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr" and they play all Beatles music. They've performed together a bunch, but never have done a full set together as a band. Bring in Sean Lennon and Dhani Harrison for a song or two, Yoko can be there.... I dunno, seems realistic and pretty cool
They’d all stay at that one stage all day to keep their spot. There'd be people passing out from dehydration all day. People peeing and shitting in depends. It’d be insane hahaha.
I dont think Ringo is a good enough drummer these days to handle a full set. Even the few times him and Paul have reunited on stage, there was always a second drummer on stage playing along.
Don’t forget McCartney closed a night of Lolla. The difference between then and now is that these festivals are primarily for influencers first, music fans second.
fuck it Coachella will be the ones to bring back title fight for the KIDS that’s never happening but let me dream
You’re in for a treat, if it’s your style. They are one of the most consistent bands out there. Dare I say they’re the Radiohead of Metal lol. Top 5 songs to check out are: Be Quiet and Drive, Digital Bath, Feiticeria, Sex Tape and Change.
crazy thing is I’ve never even listened to Radiohead besides a few songs so I can’t even get that analogy. I’ve checked out a few of those songs you listed and they are dope.
Yeah I listened to White Pony and then other songs before I saw them in 2022. While it didn’t click for me at that time I definitely got it. Very solid band. Their performance was really good too.
@irthesteve I got to check out the art department at the polo grounds today do you wanna see all the old art sitting around
