Ironic with how disappointing this lineup is, its the first time in 8 years I have friends who actually want to make the trip out for it. So maybe I'll actually go, would be cool to finally cross Coachella off my bucket list, and I'm getting the sense that the older I get the less and less this will be catered to me.

Could be nice to not have to worry about schedule conflicts too. Would be content with my days looking like this (just gonna assume No Doubt is Sunday):

Friday - Deftones, Justice, Tinashe, Faye Webster, The Japanese House, Sabrina Carpenter, Brittany Howard, Suki Waterhouse, The Beths

Saturday - Blur, Ice Spice, Gesaffelstein, Sublime, Bleachers, Grimes, Jon Batiste, Raye, The Aquabats, Militarie Gun

Sunday - No Doubt, Doja Cat, Taking Back Sunday, Jhene Aiko

Anyone got artist recommendations I should check out? I don't recognize half the lineup lol

 

So is no doubt on Sunday ?? Also what do tickets cost for this normally ? Do you have to buy weekend passes etc never been so don’t crucify me lol

 

$550-$650 depending on the tier, No Doubt is probably Sunday but not confirmed, only full weekend passes are available

I wonder if they'll do a big drop right before the first weekend as they have done the past two years (Arcade Fire, blink-182).

 

Me and Mikey were guessing either MGMT or Vampire Weekend

 

stubhub ticket prices are already nosediving, I think they actually are below face right now ahead of the general sale

 

It’s crazy the festival is expanding and this is the kind of lineup you bring for it lol

 

Not after fees, they’re like $700

 

I saw one for $470ish, there's 130 of fees?!?!

 

Think that one is gone but yes $150 of fees on top of it haha

 

I was trying to go to camp flog gnaw and yeah the prices would be like 200-300 and then fees would end up making it the 500 ticket like it normal was it was crazy

 

It's fucked how much Ticketmaster and StubHub get for ticket sales

 

even more fucked when you realize they get fees from the buyer AND the seller!

 

Dove a little bit more into the lineup names I didn’t recognize….this year might actually be the heaviest in rock music since 2017

Last year it never officially sold out on the website but it was the most packed year ever. This probably won’t be as packed as that one but I guess they don’t take tickets off the website anymore

 

Weekend 1 I believe was sold out last year iirc

Definitely a combination of so many things, but the right lineup still would have sold it out

 

The exact same lineup with Taylor Swift instead of Doja Cat would have instantly sold out

 

Even Justin Timberlake would have helped, or Rage or Dua etc. It doesn't help that all 3 have played the festival before and only Doja had a set that people generally liked

 

Coachella could've litterally just been Taylor Swift and it would've sold out.
