Confused at Suki Waterhouse being booked because she will literally just have given birth like a few weeks prior, but props to her if she can do it.
::clears throat:: allow me to explain. The trailblazing band Sublime rose to fame in the early 1990s for their unique mix of punk, reggae, ska and VIBES. The band was Bradley (singer/guitarist), Bud (drums) and Eric (bass). Tragically, Bradley lost his life to a heroin overdose right as they were hitting their peak. The band released one posthumous album they had been working on then broke up. 13 years later, Bud and Eric joined forces with a younger singer named Rome who has a lovely singing voice, similar to how Bradley sang, and they reunited the band. Much to fans joy, and their dissapointment however, Bradley's estate filed leagal action that they couldn't perform under that name, so they changed their name to "Sublime with Rome." After a few albums, Bud left that band, so Sublime with Rome continued with just one original Sublime member. At the very end of last year, Rome announced he would be leaving Sublime with Rome, very soon after the debut of a new (unnamed band) that had Bud and Eric back together again, but this time Bradley's son was singing (cue the awwws and the smiles). This Coachella booking confirms they will be continuing under the name Sublime with Bradley's estates blessing. you're welcome

Not going to this, but extremely over the moon to hear about No Doubt and Sublime. I never got my chance to see No Doubt when I was younger or during their first reunion, so I'm hoping they are booked for other music fests/summer tours. Sublime has been manifesting for the past month in my car on our local radio station. It seems like they've been playing them every day and I love this "reunion" with Brad's son. I truly feel like it's the best way they could've handled moving forward. They've talked about other music festivals being booked, so I hope one is close enough to catch!
