I didn't end up doing the pre-sale tickets, which I obviously should have, but just wasn't ready to commit. At this point, my best bet probably is either to just suck it up and pay full price for the onsale, or waiting until the fest is almost here and hoping prices drop, but that is such a gamble
W2 tickets haven’t held their value on the secondary market since they went to two weekends. You can always get one at face or just below.
when is the best time to buy in that case, because yes I would want W2... is it literlaly just waiting til a week or so ahead?
uhhhhhhhhhh The Mars Volta, really hoping to have them on the lineup... Troye Sivan would be big for me.... Caroline Polachek, Raye, Zach Bryan, Sufjan, James Blake.... I'm just looking at my favorite albums 2023 hahaha
the only songs I know from her are the songs with rappers and TikTok songs lol We are honestly the best duo
Troye is likely due to his tour Zach Bryan is out because he is doing hang out fest and me and Mikey were both hoping James Blake would be there also
i recommend buying your camping pass asap, they were going for $1.5k last year. You can hold off on passes though if you want
I did this twice...2019 and 2022. I purchased the day before W1 both times. It seemed people were trying to dump W2 tickets to try and go W1. Both times I got a pass for $15-20 under face after Stubhub fees. Truly, I recommend this tactic for any show that you know isn't going to sell out, it's sometimes shocking how cheap you can get tickets day of for a arena show that isn't sold out. So many out of market brokers buy tickets and don't want to get stuck with them so they'll discount them heavily.
I’m glad you are on that troye Sivan album Steve, I had to put Mikey on it. It became one of my favorites quickly.
I'm a big Troye fan. I think Bloom is a much better album, and In A Dream is underrated as hell, but the new album is really great. My only issue is that I could easily pick 3 songs to cut and make it an unstoppable EP
ah fuck, totally forgot about that... poor guy, I hope things are looking up soon, what a rough few years for him
I still haven’t checked out his earlier work so I might have to peep that. also OPN is basically confirmed due to his tour routing Mikey got hyped
dooo it. His first album is also good (Blue Neighborhood), but he got so much better. "Wild" is his big first single though, amazing song
5 DOJA CAT: Kemosabe/RCA artist—managed by Gordan Dillard and Josh Kaplan—continues to “Paint” a portrait of superstardom with huge streams, Coachella headline spot, Grammy noms. Peter says even Nipper loves this Cat. hits daily double once again doubling down she’s the headliner
I don't see how she's NOT a headliner, if she's on the bill. If you're gonna say Tyler is a Coachella level headliner, Doja fills venues just as big and has significantly more Top 40 hits.
In terms of undercard gets, I was just thinking I could totally see them getting a Liam Gallagher/John Squire collab set. They have their collaborative album coming out soon, and Liam hasn't toured the US since 2018. Not sure if Squire would be salty about the lackluster response Stone Roses got in 2013, though.
