So he’s pulling out due to the leg injury? Didn’t Axl do an entire GNR set sitting down at Coachella?

It’s not like Franks music is high energy, grab a stool and do the show. At his 2017 shows he was mostly seated through the whole set.

It’s just so lame, I really feel for his fans. I went last year and the whole weekend cost me like $2k…if you spend that only to find out your fav act is canceling (or worse, phoning in a set) is really crushing.

Grohl finished a show with a compound fracture and Florence broke her foot and finished her set. Poor excuse man.

As someone already in LA for weekend two, this sucks but it is what it is. Don’t really care for Blink, one of my least favorite of the options thrown out.

 

At one point I was considering holding off on last year and going this year, mostly because of Frank, so I’m really glad I didn’t do that.

Not that I wouldn’t have been excited for blink, they’re just no where near as rare of a get

 

Frank dropping out was just him saving us all from having to see the cringe that was about to happen with people making “NO FRANK OCEAN MERCHANDISE” shirts and sweaters and shorts.

 

I feel like if you’re gonna replace someone like Frank Ocean, I’d aim for an artist cooler than Blink 182 but idk man it is last minute.

 

Boy you guys are really shittying on Blink 182 in here…I mean aren’t they spending the entire summer touring the world to sold out stadiums and arenas? I feel like that’s a good replacement?

It’s also their second reunion show. People are tripping, it’s a good get. And a rock headliner again at Coachella is a good omen.

 

I don’t think it’s necessarily that way. It’s just when the headliners are reggaeton, K-POP/EDM, r&b. Blink is a weird choice because pop punk and stuff but that’s a whole different conversation on replacing a headliner on short notice.
