Ya that could read as a defense of like the dj set in the middle or having the kid coming out - if he had actually been able to do the entire show. But it doesn't really excuse changing the entire production the day of and just playing songs from your aux. I mean I haven't watched much from it so this is just based on what I'm reading. But idk
I do feel like if I had been there I'd prob be the type of person defending it to some degree lol like I'm sure I would've had a good time even if I was a little disappointed it wasn't exactly what I wanted
Personally I don’t get the hype behind the guy so the performance just reinforces my thoughts…but does anyone have any recommendations for performances of his to watch that could change my mind?
No it wouldn't be a problem, my point was more than if he's done that before he could have still put on a great performance yesterday, but my point is moot now
think Steve is just implying it’s ironic for that set he mostly stayed in one place but this set he used the ankle excuse for a “lesser” quality set by some people
It’s just so funny to see Coachella social media completely ignore the existent of the Frank set. They might as well give Bjork the headline set.
the real highlight for Sunday for me was that knocked loose. I am stupid hyped for that and it was going to be perfect with that run of porter robinson - Kali Uchis - bjork - knocked loose and Frank if he decides to show up
On the Frank sub someone said the artist on standby if Frank bails or is not allowed to perform is Miley Cyrus
I streamed some of porter and all of Kali and they were both so fun. I haven’t seen or streamed Porter do a live set and I was really impressed how well he was pulling it off.
