With the unveiling of the Coachella2023 lineup due shortly, there’s considerable buzz surrounding the headliners festival boss and curator in chief Paul Tollett has secured. While Frank Ocean (who was originally slated for 2020) is the one known headlining act for April’s desert confab, chatter among biz-watchers has largely focused on an eclectic shortlist of other possible headliners. These include Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Drake, Bad Bunny, Olivia Rodrigo, blink-182, Travis Scott, Dua Lipa, SZA, Red Hot Chili Peppers, LCD Soundsystem, BLACKPINK, Chemical Brothers, Paramore, Skrillex and Tyler, the Creator.

 

My money is on Bad Bunny

 

First year in a long time that I have no idea other than Frank (maybe)

 

Coachella needs Bad Bunny more than he needs the festival.

 

I want to believe it’s bad bunny but he made an announcement in some magazine interview that he was taking a break for 2023.

but then of course the other day he starts teasing a new album so now I don’t even know.

 

Blink 182 and Paramore are definitely not playing.

Bonnaroo just posted that their lineup is coming on Tuesday, so Coachella has to be coming today or tomorrow.

 

People are saying they’re waiting till 5pm PST so it’ll be daytime in Asia when it’s dropped.

Supposed to be a large amount of K Pop on the lineup.

 

inforoo is getting so crazy with Coachella chatter that the site is down haha

If GovBall got replaced by a traveling Coachella that’d be amazing…it’ll never happen but that would be incredible based on what GovBall has now become

 

Well Goldenvoice already tried to make Coachella East with Panorama and All Points East, and both failed.

It’ll just never work in NYC because of the limited places to do it and the inability to do camping.

Almost 20 years ago Bonnaroo tried doing a NY edition out on Long Island but the town shut it down. Same thing with Field Day in 2003 (both had great lineups too). The communities protested against them back then because of fear of drugs and destruction, but maybe now that stigma is gone and they can try again on Long Island

 

Like seriously damn you Suffolk County this would’ve been a top tier festival:

Not really sure how I didn't go to the one-day version of Field Day that ended up happening. Lots of great stuff on that lineup.
