I’m not even staying at her place for 2023 I’m staying at another family house since they going on a cruise during Coachella fest
passes for both weekends still available, so much for selling out quickly anymore. Almost like a recession plus a big price jump wasn't their best move
I just looked up the receipt from my first Coachellas, the TOTAL for one ticket in 2011 was $320, and I went for free in 2010 because I did "work exchange" where I worked at Stagecoach the weekend before Coachella.
I had picked tier 1 but the site crashed when I was truing to buy tickets so it kicked me and forced me to buy tier 2 ir was dumb
Yeah I was seeing some shit on reddit about lots of people having issues and getting kicked out etc, also some people choosing the payment plan but getting charged in full up front
thanks to you Steve my friend got kicked out at 10 and then he gave up but now he got his tickets right now
I hate AEG as much as the next person, but it does really rub me the wrong way that most articles about AEG attempt to be Coachella-centric rather than AEG-centric. Yes, it really sucks, but painting it as a Coachella problem only is off base. There are SO many other festivals, venues, and entities owned by AEG, are they all getting headline articles like this? It's even more obnoxious because Paul Tollett is very liberal, and is the actual dude who controls Coachella. Anyway, AEG fucking sucks
first word in the title of the article is "Coachella" yet it takes 5 paragraphs to say "AEG Presents and its subsidiary, Goldenvoice (which presents Coachella and Stagecoach), are just a couple of stars in the massive galaxy that is Anschutz Corporation’s holdings."
Yeah I’ve had friends shame me for going to Coachella but they went to Camp Flog Gnaw lol. AEG sucks but it’s much bigger than Coachella
