I can confirm that they do play Papa Roach multiple times throughout the evening.

 

I feel like the local and regional emo nights have a sense of self-awareness about the whole thing, but the LA people think they’re truly doing something important which is hilarious considering it’s less work than a real DJ does.

I didn't think emo night was that bad. I was pleasantly suprised they at least mixed the songs with edm. The couple times I saw them they didn't even do that. It really was just pushing play on a Spotify Playlist

You’re at the one of two or three best festivals in the world. You DO NOT need to go see two dudes press play on emo songs I promise haha.

 

Emo Nite is super fun at their normal club shows, particularly when Captain Cuts are the DJs. I was hoping they'd do something big for Coachella though, kinda a bummer it's just Forest and PWT

 

I think I was just going to stop by since I had like a 40 minute break between Japanese breakfast and rina so I was like screw it peep the tent real quick

 

Exactly lol I needed like a bit spectacle to wanna go. Or even just having actual transitions and stuff between songs. But sounds like it was the same old “hit play on an MP3” so I’ll just secure my spot for Mannequin Pussy

my biggest conflict right now is pup and grupo firme playing at the same time.

i want to see pup because I know more of their music but like grupo firme is one of the biggest Mexican bands out right now and tickets for them are like $100+ if they come to Fresno.

 

Hikari Utada doing simple and clean during the 88rising set like this is my childhood hearing this for kingdom hearts.

settle was probably one of my favorite dance albums so the love they showed it so far ruled

 

Yeah same. I haven't kept up with them super well since Settle but I wore that one out the year it came out (2013?)

 

disclosure’s settle and duck sauce’s quack are the albums that put me on to house music in general

those artists that got the perfect time slot from the change to day to night really are elite. It looks so good on video with that change.
