Is going to Coachella fun? Not trying to sound stuck up but it sounds exhausting. Crowded. Lame crowd. Super corporate.

Or deep down is it a blast and worth it

I went in 2019 because the lineup was insane (The 1975, Childish Gambino, Weezer, Tame Impala.....). I had a really great time. If large crowds and heat don't bother you it is totally worth it. My friend and I promised that if the lineup is ever that good again we would definitely go back

My experience in a nutshell: really fun and really exhausting. I have good memories overall. I hated walking soo damn far to and from the pick up area, especially after the final performance at like 2am when you’re super tired from the full day in the desert sun, standing, dancing, drinking, etc. The crowd is so huge, so inevitably some people will be lame and others will be cool. The corporate aspect didn’t bother me, there was a variety of companies and brands throughout. I think I’ve gone three times over the past ten years and plan to again some day depending on lineup and personal issues (I have two kids now!!). Going with a big group and renting a house is the way to go if you ask me. All in all, YMMV.

I went in 2019 too. I was only there for a day but I had a great time as well! Aside from the music, the polo grounds are pretty majestic and beautiful. Worth going alone for that, IMO.
