Not too keen on a ton of pop or country this year but somehow Euro Country really charmed me, enough to buy a ticket to see her in a couple weeks.
Lord, Let That Tesla Crash is one of the best song titles of 2025. Not listened to this yet but she's having a MOMENT and I'm so here for it.
Really didn’t expect to like this as much as I did on first listen. She’s got so much charisma, I’m really looking forward to diving into this.
So CMAT was our biggest discovery at Primavera Sound this year for sure. She played night one and we didn’t know who she was and honestly didn’t even really watch her perform. We watched Nourished By Time and then tried to get our bearings a little bit because it was early the first day. And from a distance we saw her crowd and how big it was and they were going absolutely apeshit. One of the first things I did when I got home was listen to some tracks.
caught her live last night. I don't love all her material equally but holy cow her stage presence and live singing is unreal. the fans were unbelievable as well, it was like catching a major pop artist at a 1200 cap venue.
I'm lucky enough to have played Rock Oyster festival last year, and a stadium show this year, with CMAT on both bills. Not my usual cuppa but absolutely cannot deny the greatness of the songwriting and performances - her and the band were fucking ace both times.
I just listened in full and this is excellent! She was just here a couple days ago but I didn’t realize otherwise I would have tried to go. Based on the videos I have seen and how great these songs are, she deserves to have a Chappell moment next year. She’s on the Coachella lineup which will hopefully be a big boost here in the states.
“The Jamie Oliver Petrol Station” is a song of the year contender. That song deserves to be played in front of thousands of people at a big festival.
That was great. I am very excited to watch her Coachella set and I’m not even going haha. I just hope she gets the Chappell bump and blows up here. I’m still mad I got into her a week after she played in Chicago, but hopefully she comes to Lolla next year.
yeah I felt incredibly lucky to catch her at the fame level I did....she seems poised for greater things in the very near future.
As someone who's been a fan of her music since she was in Bad Sea ages back I am so here for Ciara having her moment. Go get 'em!
