Yeah so like I assume that piece of the space station was carrying "the God Particle" on it, and that's what mutated the monster.

Man, now I really wish they hadn't spoiled the connection to the original film in the trailer, that would've been a hell of a surprise ending. This is why I hate spoiler culture.

 

Urghh I want to stay awake and watch this tonight but I don't think I have it in me. Rushing home from work tomorrow to watch this.

Still can't believe we're getting 2 cloverfield movies this year.
