Agree that Overlord is awesome. It's on Amazon Prime for anyone who still hasn't seen it. Has there been any talks about a fourth Cloverfield movie? They dropped the ball so hard on Cloverfield Paradox, I'm hoping they redeem themselves.
10 Cloverfield Lane is still one of my favorite movies of the past few years. I hated Paradox so much.
I did not hate Paradox as much as everyone else seemed to. I mean it's not great but it still entertained me/I think I'm just willing to enjoy anything that expands on this universe. But I do find the idea of the creature getting to Earth due to a door to a parallel universe and such interesting/entertaining That being said, as much as I liked 10 Cloverfield Lane, I still don't quite get it's relation to Cloverfield's creature. I know I've read stuff online before but I forget hah
Well originally they wanted Cloverfield to be an anthology series of separate stories not connected to each other. Once they changed their tune with Paradox I think the explanation was that whatever happened in Paradox opened doors to alternate universes. One universe having the cloverfield monster, another having the alien invasion from Lane. I think that's the relation.
I want a direct sequel/prequel to the 2008 movie so bad. Favorite monster movie by far. I do really want to see 10 Cloverfield Lane again, too. Haven't seen it since it was in theaters
I remember right after the original 2008 movie they said a sequel was coming that would show the events in New York from the perspective of the military. I still want that movie!
LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOO For Real This Time, An Actual ‘Cloverfield’ Sequel Now in the Works from Bad Robot and Paramount!
I always liked that concept that floated around years ago that the sequel was actually going to be the same events of the first one but from the perspective of the military.
Nice. I always did like the surprise element of their marketing. I wonder if this is going to be marketed more conventionally or if they're going to use viral marketing/ARG/teasing.
I would like a prologue that shows Hud getting killed by the monster from at least five different angles.
Confused on the THR article saying "Paradox" underperformed at the box office. It was dumped on to Netflix.
