Lol. Overlord is for sure going to be in the cloverfield universe

 

Shit. Either way I’m excited for Overlord. Esp since it’s Bad Robot’s first R rated movie.

 

He easily could be referring to Cloverfield as the “universe” of the first three movies be a sequel more connected with the second and/or third movies. He has talked about sequels involving Winstead’s and/or Mbatha Raw’s characters.

 

I'm going to remain optimistic and hope it's a sequel to the 2008 film until I hear otherwise

 

I had to fact check JJ and Rad Robots very first film was rated R lol.

So I'm not sure how I really stumbled upon this, but apparently this movie called Gremlin came out last year, aaaand... It's a blatant rip off of the Cloverfield monster. Lol how did they get away with that?

Overlord trailer is here. Looks like it's not a part of the Cloverfield franchise.

 

Probably trying to distance themselves after how terrible Cloverfield Station was.

Or Paradox. Whatever it was called.

If you’re a giant Cloverfield nerd like me, do yourself a favor and go see Underwater.

Really fun sci-fi/monster movie that definitely scratches that Cloverfield itch

 

That makes me much more interested in that movie
