I'm sure it'll be a couple months after they announce it. If they have to wait on the vinyl, it my not be released until next summer

 

If we get a new album this month it will certainly go down as one of the most legendary times in new music.

 

i mean it has been done for a while

 

Saw these guys in a tiny venue in NYC last night. It felt amazing because I am a huge fan, but all three times I've had tickets to see them since 2013 something has come up and ruined my being able to go.

1) First time—maybe ever?—that I left a show and thought "holy shit my ears hurt." Shit was loud.
2) Their drummer really is otherworldly. Seeing that "Psychic Trauma" breakdown in person was absolutely bananas. The whole band was really going full-speed the entire show, even if it was only a 50-minute set.
3) They played two new songs and both sounded amazing, especially the first one. I wonder if that's the one that is being debuted today.
4) Hipster mosh pits are funny.

This song is very good. Probably gonna make me revisit their last two albums to see if they'll finally click with me.

"I'm Not Part of Me" is still the best song of 2014.

 

Not best IMO, but top 10

 

Competition for me: "Come Alive" by Chromeo, "Match & Tinder" by You Blew It!, "Let Her Go" by Mac DeMarco, and "Dendron" by The Hotelier.

 

Intro by the hotelier, Jackson by cymbals eat guitars, and movement by arrange would be up there for me

 

Loveeeeee this song. Cool to hear they're going for a different feel on this album. Love me some H&NE, but a vocal heavy Clouds album sounds phenomenal.

Thoughts? This song seems like a polished demo that could have been on Life in Color.

 

This band is finally clicking with me and I’m very happy about it.

Fav album atm is Attack On Memory by a pretty wide margin with Cut You and Wasted Days being my fav songs.

 

They’re fantastic. Really want to see them live
