So an EP a month since August and now 3 albums within 1 year?

A frightening amount of music.

 

Literally like everything they put out but the new LP is a standout for me.

 

this new subscriber release is honestly immediately one of my fav things they’ve done, and I wasn’t expecting that at all after thinking TBHU was good but not like exceptional (and not listening to the monthly EPs yet at all). ridiculously blown away by it

 

Life is Only One Event is, shocker, very good.

I do worry that he's getting a little too comfortable writing these 3 minute poppier songs. He's clearly mastered it, I don't think he's released a bad song in years but I would like to see him experiment a little more again

 

I feel like last building burning was a deviation from that for a good portion of its runtime

 

Yeah, and I know that was only 2 years ago but he's put out so much music since then and it's all kind of the same vein. I would love for them to blow my mind like they did with the transition from the self-titled album to Attack on Memory.

I feel like these monthly EP's would be a perfect opportunity for them to try out some new and weird shit

 

caught up on the new single Nothing Without You and this is easily one of the best cloud nothing songs i've ever heard. The production is incredible on it.

 

Yeah this song roped me back in and got me excited for the album

It’s love is fucked. Started sweating just listening to it.

this whole album feels mixed for headphones. Listening on headphones vs speakers is an entirely different experience.

Gonna check this out after Little Oblivions. Stoked cuz I never checked out his Bandcamp albums from last year

 

Really liking this after first listen. I also missed the Bandcamp records - what are the highlights from those?

 

They're literally all great. Both full lengths and all the EPs are regular listens for me
