    Maybe so, maybe not.

    I know it's a great move for them in terms of getting all the money they deserve and I love the creativity of the release model, but I feel like burrowing this year's releases on Bandcamp has rendered them non-existent in terms of buzz this year from music fans and year-end lists?

    Agreed. I put Life is Only One Event in my top 10 (realistically could’ve put Black Hole on as well) but I feel like most people don’t even know they’ve released an album this year, let alone 2 full lengths and 5 EPs.
