Did a Stitch Fix thing cause oh well may as well do it once and see. Interested to see what they pick for me. I have very particular taste which is bad cause I don't have a lot of diversity in my closet but it makes me apprehensively excited!
I made a killing thrifting this past weekend. Managed to snag a virtually new LL Bean full zip fleece for like $15 (usually like $80 new), a Lucky Brand button down, some flannels, and some sweet grandpa cardigans/sweaters, one of which was a vintage Eddie Bauer fair isle sweater which is amazing.
I really want the new red Blade Runner-inspired Ozweegos but they're more expensive each passing season wtf
I'm going to rant hard now because forever 21 has done pissed me off. I open an email that directs me to the forever 21 plus new releases straight up everything on the first page is $35 to $48. There was VERY few below that, and I didn't see anything under $20. And they had dresses for as much as $80 something!!! yall. this is forever 21. the most infamous cheap ass fashion forward place. "fast fashion" or whatever it's called and I was so fucking ecstatic when they created a plus size line. FINALLY an actually affordable place where fat girls can get TRENDY pieces. The first time I went there everything I got was under $22. This was only a year ago!!! The fact that they have the nerve to straight up double their prices and put their price point on the level of Torrid has me M A D. Plus size fashion is already such an extremely skipped over and overpriced market. It's insane that one of the only affordable options we have is now phasing out. I'm angry as hell. If you knew the politics/landscape of plus size fashion you would know how actually outrageous this is, and that I'm not just being super dramatic haha
bought the Noah x The Cure Disintegration hoodie and a gold Bianca Chandôn tee with an elephant on itttt good shit ^__^
Got my stitch fix box! I liked everything in it but I'm only gonna keep one thing, maaaaybe two. The things were mostly pricey and not everything was of good enough quality to justify price. Like if I'm gonna pay a lot I want ethical companies and good quality materials. One scarf they sent was gorgeous and made of recycled materials but I don't think I'd realistically wear it much. I think I need to switch my preference to petite cause the only thing that fit super well was the petite jeans
I bought these Adidas Tubular Invaders a month back and they have been dope to wore. I now kinda want to buy some Nikes just to have another pair since my old Nike SB are looking rough these days. I have been really starting to look into shoe culture and it is amazing.
there's a plus size resale shop here (like platos closet but all plus size) that I've been meaning to check out since they opened...they posted on fb that all their winter gear (it's florida soo..) is 50% off so I figured that was a good time to go. I ended up getting 2 sweaters, 2 shirts, and a dress all for $20. Pretty stoked
Not exactly fashion, but do y’all have a preferred cologne or perfume? I’m partial to Acqua Di Gio by Georgio Armani but I haven’t owned it in over a year cause I always feel kinda eh about dropping $75+ on cologne even though it lasts forever
Versace is very clean smelling and not strong. Luckily I make a bottle last half a year and usually get it as a gift on my birthday/Christmas so I never have to buy it.
I have these but if i do wear perfume I only rly use the Coach ones or the Elizabeth and James ones View attachment 13759
I know my opinion ain’t shit, but Marc Jacob’s Daisy is the greatest perfume I’ve ever smelled on a woman.
I have an unfair hatred for Daisy because of how often Sephora tries to give me the samples like I probably have twenty of them at this point and I just started throwing them in ppls gift bags to get rid of them. I hate Sephora perfume samples tho except Elizabeth and James I will take any and all of theirs cause I can't afford it on my own lol
I've never really been huge on cologne mostly due to the price. But my gf got me a Bath & Bodyworks Teakwood scented cologne for Christmas, it smells amazing and its only like $35
I use Banana Republic Modern, but probably only once or twice a month. Not a huge cologne guy, I just naturally smell delicious.
My fave perfume is stupid expensive but I finally saved up my money last year and bought it. It's Mugler Angel. I like warm, musky scents and my friends make fun of me and tell me I smell like a man. Like ok? Then whatever men you're smelling must smell damn good bc I love how I smell THANKSSSSS!
