Corduroy is great if you wanna play with different textures. Especially in the fall/winter and if you're into that heritage/americana/workwear look. I really wanna get a corduroy blazer from j.crew but I can't justify the price at the moment.
I don't really like the sound or feel of corduroy but I like the look. Also, I used my Super Cash at Old Navy yesterday and walked out with ALL THE SWEATERS. I'm wearing a wonderful chunky cardigan right now and it is life.
Every once in a while h & m sends me a coupon cause I haven't shopped there in a few months and it always ropes me in smh evil
I've been trying to majorly cut back on buying clothes from fast fashion brands. Mostly for ethical reasons but also because I've just grown dissatisfied with them after recently purchasing items from higher quality brands.
That’s where I got my pair, from the outlet store. They were only like 20 dollars a pair so it was a steal.
I can't find one with a plus section in store :( My friend swore there was one here but I've been to three and can't find anything larger than a 12
Eyyy I had no idea this thread exists. Since my job pertains to this, I hope I'm welcome/provide some good insight on brands for everybody. Saw some talk of cords. I like the ones I got from Gilded Age quite a bit. Bought some from H&M before and they fit like shit so I was turned off of them for a while after that until this year.
I have this skirt that I bought off Poshmark last year that was originally from Nordstrom and it's so perfect in every way like no skirt has never been so flattering and amazing. I need it in every color but I can never find a skirt with as perfect a cut and style. I have bought many a skirt trying to replicate the look of the Nordstrom skirt and it all pales in comparison. I tried going on the Nordstrom site to see if I could find it in other colors and then I saw the prices of things and omg
Have you tried visiting a Nordstrom Rack store? You should google locations near you and check those out. Probably your best bet at finding it again for a reasonable price.
The closest Nordstrom or Nordstrom rack is like 3 hours away so it's not a place I'm at regularly unfortunately!
Love when stores send me good coupons bc I haven't shopped there in forever. Thank you for the $10 off Victoria's Secret. I will use it to get a pair of undies for 50 cents bc your store is too expensive for me to afford anything else!! I refuse to spend $50 on a bra. It's just not happening.
I love going into Victoria's Secret but I never end up buying anything bc its way too pricy. I only ever need at most 2 pairs of inexpensive bras until they break haha
Yeah ive stopped shopping at fast fashion for like 1.5 years. It aint good, ethically but also not good products. Now i mostly buy second hand as thats the most feasible way to do it for me financially.
what places are considered fast fashion? H&M for sure, right? Top Shop? I don't know too many because I don't really shop at places like that outside of buying the occasional t-shirt from H&M.
H&M although they do have a conscious collection thats suppose to be more ethical and they started doing the donation thing there too, forever 21, zara, topshop, cotton on.
Cotton On is really terrible I bought a pair of shorts from there that lasted me three months at most
