I ordered a silver sparkly top. I don't think I've ever worn silver so I'm nervous! If I go for a metallic I usually choose something warmer like a bronze.

 

A trend that needs to die is men wearing no socks with their dress shoes. Looks absolutely laughable.

 

I don't think it looks bad depending on the overall look but I always wonder if their feet smell. Pharrell explained on some talk show that well-made shoes don't make your feet stink if you go sockless but idk if I trust him and I also feel like most average ppl can't afford super well made shoes anyway. And it's a missed opportunity to wear fun socks.

 

Depends. If you're me, you look awesome.

 

I've been trying to dress more flattering. I think I have an awesome body but I feel frumpy a lot. I think one culprit is my undershirts. I think they kinda disguise my frame and make me look boxier. But I feel the need to wear them cause women's shirts are stupid thin and see through.

 

This and it just looks like you forgot to put socks on. Plus I've read that the sweat that comes out of your foot is not good for leather.

 

i don't wear undershirts when I wear shirts because it makes me look heavier in my opinion. Without the undershirt it gives a really "this guy doesn't care" kind of look.

 

Yeah I can't do that unless I want my look to be "this girl doesn't care that her bra is showing at work"

 

that's true, especially if it's light colored. But dark colors are normally not as sheer. Personally, I dress my mom up in Old Navy tops and she loves em. She's all about undershirts though

 

I wear a lot of dark tops but the outline of my bra shows too without undershirts and I hate that. Which prob means I need better quality bras but they're so expensive. Plus bending forward and showing off my bra is not a good look and it doesn't take much for that to happen. Undershirts just make everything feel secure lol but yeah def not flattering for me

Old Navy is my nemesis. Nothing makes me look as boxy and shapeless as old Navy lol

 

I have never worn an undershirt. That is fancy business.

 

It has to be hot outside for me to not undershirt.

 

wearing undershirts screws up the way the over shirts fit IMO

 

I think it depends. But nobody should wear shoes with no socks, just wear shoes with no-show socks. Nice loafers can definitely be worn with no sock showing. And your pants shouldn't be baggy or really lose.

 

Are you sure they're not wearing those no-show socks?

 

Hawaiian shirts do not need to make a comeback.

 

I have work Hawaiian shirts ironically before, and I am not proud

 

So what's everyone gonna be wearing around the pool/at the beach this summer?

I picked these up from F21 since they were pretty cheap but might look somewhere else for ones that are a sold color

 

I try to avoid the sun and large bodies of water lol. I do need to up my shorts game tho. I have lil hip dips and shorts always seem to settle right in the dips giving a bit of a love handle illusion. I think I need to try out some that are a bit more high-waisted.

 

There's a cute bathing suit I have my eye on but it's way more expensive than I would usually spend.

I hate wearing shorts for some reason unless they're basketball shorts or boardshorts.

 

Picked up a nice pair of navy 7" shorts perfect for summer.

 

so are jorts still cool or nah? asking for a friend...
