I only do liners - grey ones

 

I like Express socks - they're thicker and more comfortable (argyle style), but there's some more funky ones out there too that I will wear just for the design and not really for comfort.

Continuing the Converse/Vans talk, they definitely have no age limit. They're classics and the minimalist design over the years has made them into a staple for an outfit imo. Whenever someone thinks of canvas shoes they automatically assume Chucks or Vans

The newly redesigned matte Chuck 2 are pretty awesome, especially now since they have better support

Ya vans are chillin. I have a pair of black and white ones that I basically use as slip-ons for the beach or work activities or whatever.

 

just bought a wide brimmed hat. don't know if I can pull it off, though.


also, those red suede authentics were the bomb and my favorite part was the hiking boot looking sole.

In my eternal quest to tell the sun to gtfo, I wanna sun hat but I'm skeptical if I can pull it off. I've been told that I can, but I think they attract attention and that makes me all sorts of anxious

Vans look find and I'm sure they're comfy and all but there's plenty of shoes that meet those requirements that arent incredibly boring.

Anyone try and adhere (and succeed) with the Capsule Wardrobe? I've read a few interesting articles, but am curious if anyone has found success with it?

I need to figure out better hot weather work appropriate outfits. Once a week I can wear short skirts which is nice but on the days I have kids I prefer not to cause who knows who will be clawing at my legs or the weird positions I'll have to be in to keep kids from dying. I've been wearing boyfriend jeans or rolling up the pant legs a bit on my skinny jeans but like tomorrow will be about 90 degrees..... idek. I'll just die I guess. And it's only the beginning of the heat.

 

They make really cute skorts now. Have you ever considered wearing those?

 

I feel like getting kicked and scratched and bit on the daily basis that I do... I don't want bare legs. I just have to last one more month which I can do, I just wish I had more options.

 

Have you thought about culottes?

 

Check out Bass Outlets. I've gotten a lot of great socks as gifts for dudes from them plus I love their women's selection because they're not solely pink and purple and floral. Nothing wrong with any of those things, just not what I want. The prices aren't bad and they hold up well

 

Anything but black socks, I find disgusting. Not sure when I picked that up, but I loathe white socks.

 

My Power Ranger socks are developing holes and it's stressing me out

 

I don't feel comfortable wearing accented socks. I think its a lack of character and boldness than anything.

 

I don't have a single pair of matching socks.

 

Part of me doesn't like you, but the other part is envious.
