Honestly, the Ultra Boost is probably the best combination athletic/casual shoe that's come out in a long, long time. Nike almost got there with a lot of their Flyknit stuff but the uppers were always too tight/constricting or the ankle part was so rough it made my heel bleed (Flyknit Free 3.0, Mercurial Superfly). I've had two pairs of the Sock Darts (Navy and Grey) in my house, but I returned them both. They just don't fit as well as the Ultra Boosts and I don't see the silhouette aging as well.

I was in Carmel not too long ago and stumbled upon this shop called Civilianaire. A bit pricey, but they had some reaaally fucking nice flannels. Their website is down right now but I found a pic of the one I wanted online.

My entire wardrobe consists of two button up shirts that fit if i roll the sleeves up, two pairs of jeans, two pairs of shorts, and a shit ton of band shirts that I've picked up at shows. Fashion is the last thing I fit into my "budget."

I bought some Eazy E glasses and they were surprisingly cheap; now I just need a Los Santos or Compton hat

I was trying to describe myself to someone

I've become obsessed with a UK company called Vegetarian Shoes and I don't really know how to wear anything not on the grey scale. I'm unsure whether I should post that in this thread or in the one about being sick...

Apparently 511s stop fitting me after one wash. This is the second time is happened, and I used cold water, so I don't know. I'm pissed.

Might need to hand wash, line dry, and then iron them instead of throwing them in the dryer?

I've tried hang drying them and started to do that this time, but I remember last time they were still damp after hanging for a day and started to smell

Damp all over or just like in the waist and the hems?

All over. Although, I live in an apartment, so it's not line-drying. It's either put them on a hanger over the balcony or drape them over something inside

Washing it in cold water will delay shrinking. Is it just getting smaller in the waist or in the jeans overall?

Overall. It fit fine last time I wore them. Then I took them out of the dryer and tried to put them on and the legs are extremely tight

Maybe it will stretch out again or is it just that tight?

Yeah like Erin said you're probably gonna need to stick to hang drying. If they start to smell a little or something you could just throw them into the dryer for 5 mins to get rid of the smell. Or even go up a size since you know they're gonna shrink on you

On the subject of jeans: How often do you guys wash your jeans?

It's pretty much a consensus that you should wait after a couple of wears before you wash them. I'm weird and I like to wash my jeans 1 or 2 times right after buying them to shrink them down a little (I'm a slim-ish guy and I like to my jeans to be really fitted) then I generally wait to wash them after 5 wears. Also depends how dirty or smelly they get, most of the time if I drop something on them I can tend get it out with a wet towel

I've been wearing these ones nearly every day since early February and wore them first shortly after Christmas.

I always wear scrubs during the week so I only wear jeans on the weekend. To be completely honest, I'm not sure when was the last time I washed a pair.

  25. satelliteskin

    ok

I wash everything, including jeans, right after buying them. Then afterwards, I typically wear them 2-3 times before I wash them.
