Listening to First Temple this morning. I really can't believe how good it still is. I'm pretty sure I would call this the pinnacle of the post-hardcore releases that were super popular around the late 2000s/early 2010s.
Speaking of TREOS and Closure weird trivia; BTHATS and The Penance and The Patience have the same album artist!
I really wish TREOS clicked for me the way they did for everyone else. Love TDH, so Casey's contributions are nice, but it never all got put together for me. Can totally see that the same artist did both covers now that you pointed that out.
got tix to see them in Seattle in a few weeks. Didn't go to the Baltimore show because it was Super Bowl Sunday, but they happened to be in Seattle while I was going to be out there. Stoked to see them for the first time
I still hate that them and Caligula’s Horse were playing Atlanta on the same night at two different rooms in the same venue. I chose Caligula’s Horse, and no regrets, but I still wish I could’ve seen them. Haven’t seen them since warped tour 2010.
Closure in Moscow - Pink Lemonade 2xLP 10th Anniversary Edition (ETR217) Enjoy the ride just put out a 10’year Pink Lemonade press
If I listened to that record more I would cop for sure but it’s my least favorite record of theirs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I was kind of in disbelief the entire time at how incredible they sounded lol. A Night At the Spleen sounded impeccable. I was huge into Penance/FT and kind of just disregarded Pink Lemonade for whatever reason and haven't given Soft Hell as much attention, and this is the first show I've been to where I'm disappointed a band didn't play more material I DIDN'T know.
