Just as I thought. Sigh.

Maybe the silver lining here is that they got a healthy dose of Karma?

 

This current festival generations willingness to attend anything they can go see x-amount of artists/bands for whatever price, astounds me. Having befriended several people who subscribe to festival lifestyle/culture, I've come to see they often don't care who, where, price, whatever detail you put in, as long as theres music (and many times a shit ton of substances), they go. This "festival" is a new level of shit show though.

 

This guy actually might've been sarcastic with the "send help." his twitter feed covers every inch of the disastrous scam. I have been having a field day reading the memes and tweets about this. It seems it is actually being considered a scam, and McFarland allegedly has been arrested.

 

People wondering whether that $2.7million was Fyre Festival money seeing as he hash tagged #fyre !!!

 

It's a good idea for a festival but they didn't prepare/plan enough.

 

Anyone see the $100 million dollar lawsuit against Fyre? Lol.
