Yeah I listened to half of this on my walk this morning. It's amazing. It's gonna get overshadowed by Brand New, which is a shame

 

"Sickle Moon Blues" holy SHIT what a tune

 

excited to hear this! I also had no idea members of Native and Grown Ups were in this, that's wild

 

ugh people need to stop reminding me (or continue reminding me, maybe) about how much i miss native :(

 

I never even listened to Orthodox but Wrestling Moves was a favorite when it came out, I should probably go back and see if I still like it

 

orthodox is so much better imo, i adore adore adore that record. and they were so good live too

 

this is pretty easily the best thing they've done, really pretty record

 

Would I like this band?

 

potentially? it's heavy, stoner shoegaze stuff, lots of big crushing riffs in long songs. the songs on here are really good.

 

Yep I'd probably like this band haha thanks. They're from right near where I go to school which put them on my radar.

 

this is a great record. the way they transition from sludge to shoegaze and sometimes both at once is wonderful.

 

This is good, but I'm still waiting for this to fully click with me the way Further Out did

 

Not to harp on this but I think "Sickle Moon Blues" is the track I've been waiting for this band to make since I first heard them. It's so massive and beautiful

 

I think Big World is that song for me because the poppy chorus is amazing and contrasts so well with the crushing guitars but yeah, Sickle Moon Blues is a damn good song.

 

Where has this band been all my life? This is right in my wheelhouse. 52 hz whale is massive
