Yeah Title track is really nice. Great bass lines throughout this so far

 

Dottie- back Thrush wowza. Did Talbot have a hand in this one at all? The album that is

 

the production gives a lot more clarity to what bobby is doing than what we had in past releases

 

seems unclear. zac montez engineered it and it says they self-produced so i’m guessing no but i saw another article that says yes so idk. maybe they were just guessing

 

When I asked Bobby at their show at the end of 2019 if they were recording it with Matt he said yes. Could have misheard me though

 

Anyways it's snowing like an mf in Chicago so my commute got doubled and I had the opportunity to spin this in the car twice. Got to the outro of the title track as I drove down a stretch with trees on both sides with the snow blanketing the branches and I think I briefly left my body for a second

Very excited to see them tonight

 

I could be entirely off here, but something about this makes me feel like this is the first half of a double album. Or the first part of a series.

Zac does some great work. Maybe I’m biased though

 

My brain is melting trying to figure out what the little solo part in "Lost Meaning" sounds like

 

Definitely hear the Hum influence on here, really cool record

I know this band is really riff-heavy, but I actually love the softer spaced out reverb-y parts even more I think. That dynamic between the two is great.

 

i touched on it in the review but it seems like on time well they were really trying to make a Hum record, probably bc they were working with matt, and this seems like a more logical follow up to further out

 

Now this here, this is a good record

 

Just finished my first listen and I'm digging it bit more than Time Well I think. The shorter length is nice. Some songs grab me more immediately for sure too. I'll have to listen with headphones tonight to get a better experience with it.

 

This is amazing. On my second listen today and "Doubts" is a real vibe.

None of the singles really connected with me but this record is amazing as a whole. Much more ethereal than I expected. The slowed down part in the title track feels so good. This band doesn’t miss.
