Very curious about these, please share your thoughts after watching. All his movies are unforgettable, with Climax possibly being his best yet.

 

well, unfortunately it doesn't look like I'm gonna have a chance to watch them tonight, but I will be watching them VERY soon and will report back.

 

This movie has popped up around the internet multiple times in the past month or so, so I'm going to check it out. I feel like someone whose opinion I trusted on AP or IRL was anti-Noé, so I avoided him.

Is this as bad as The Whale? Was I right to avoid him? Were you the Noé hater?

 

At least the Whale is sometimes funny, albeit unintentionally. Noe is down there with Nicolas Winding Refn and Jason Reitman.

Did you see Only God Forgives? If you liked that movie I guess you would like his other stuff.

Wait my Letterboxd says I have seen Only God Forgives but I don't remember it at all.

 

Drive was bad but it was Citizen Kane next to Only God Forgives and Neon Demon.

 

i agree with whoever above called noe's movies unforgettable but also agree with all the shit-talking happening lol. enter the void, irreversible, vortex, and climax all have moments living in my head still but i'm not sure i liked any of them. i respect enter the void the most for sure. i feel like if anything, i love what noe did for opening credits sequences, he seems to be pretty influential in that realm

 

lol god climax actually pissed me off so fucking much, i saw it alone in theaters, remember scoffing as i got up, think i repressed the experience until now.

 

okay I’ll be the first to admit here that Climax fucking rocks. Enter the Void too

 

this video always struck me as noe-inspired, sorry to nazipost
