this movie was too real and haunting, definitely his most solid work yet imo. i really hope gaspar is an only child though or else i’d be pretty concerned at this point.....
I was legit upset / distressed after walking out but I keep thinking about it and now that the initial shock faded I think I like this. I definitely love the camera work throughout and the dance sequences a lot.
I was worried about that and no not really, there’s a candid conversation between two guys that is very womanizing but I don’t recall anything graphic
I would definitely say there is some sexual violence implications in this movie, it's tame for Gaspar but tame for Gaspar is still pretty extreme.
Okay this was visually marvelous and I was entranced throughout (the whole aesthetic was very effective) but no this was way way wayyyy too fucked up for me. Need aserious palate cleanser.
saw this in theatres yesterday and heard a lot of “i hate you for making me see this” after it was done lol
The opening interviews and “end” credits make it feel like it takes awhile to get going, but I don’t know how someone can watch this without being enthralled from that point on; opening sequence and overhead sequence are so good.
