Dan from TWY and Ace Enders project based on the television show Friday Night Lights. If there were a more on brand band for this site I haven't seen it.

The Wonder Years And The Early November Men Debut Friday Night Lights-Themed Side-Project — Kerrang!

Both songs are excellent. I'm fully on board.

This is such a weird concept, but I think Good Get Coach might be one of my favorite songs of the year.

I really just want the lyric book without a shirt. Feels weird for me to just buy digitally, but that's okay. The whole EP is awesome.

I fucking love this so much. Listened to it like 3 times on the way home from work.

Guess I’ll start a FNL rewatch too, fuck it.

 

count me in as someone who needs to watch this for the first time

 

both these songs are incredible. ive only seen the first two seasons and it was years and years ago, i need to watch it all front to back

 

Does this mean the second release is gonna be terrible

(Im very excited about this don’t get me wrong I just never pass up an opportunity to make fun of FNL season 2)

 

Maybe they’ll forget season 2 exists just like the show does.

 

Season 2 is tolerable. Definitely a step-down but still enjoyable enough, audacious as it gets.

 

Season 2 gets wayyyyy too much hate.

What's interesting about this project is that I'm sure Ace diagrammed exactly how connectively he wants to write his songs (TMTM&TP style) and that Soupy is just kind of feeling it out.

 

This is everything 2011 me wanted. Ace was wearing a Dillon Panthers shirt the last time I saw TEN. Very cool they took the time to do this. I'll be hopping on the rewatch train as well.

 

This is so damn good. Field reminds me of Beneath Medicine Tree.

 

God, this is great. Then again, I'm pretty much on board for anything Dan is involved with, so. "Coming Up For Air" is so great.
