A couple Zia locations say they have them, and I think another poster in here was saying his store had them too but they were priced super high
yeah I found one online, i guess my local stores just sold out or something? who knows, either way I bought it haha
Definitely need to give this a headphones listen. I'm liking it more now, but some of the songs are so...thin, or quiet sounding, that I don't think playing it out loud on a speaker (especially while working) is the best way to get the most out of it.
Is it just me or do some of the piano arrangements have a Beatles-esque feel to them? Specifically "Wade," but I get it a little from "Bambi," too.
This might be because I just started McCartney 3,2,1 last night but I had the same thought. Lots of production flourishes that give me the same vibe. This makes my ears happy.
This is absolutely stunning. Great, great work from her and Antonoff. So many moments I want to nestle into and live in
This album is unreal sooooo good i didn’t hear the melodicism as McCartney so much as Joni, Nilsson, maybe even a lil Van Dyke Parksy, macca makes a lotta sense tho Either way, i love how melodic this is
On my second listen of this, first actually focused one and I'm surprised this hasn't been more unanimously praised here. I mean like I guess the middle kind of meanders but there is so much incredible stuff here. The vocals, the songs, the production...if I wasn't wary of only posting nice things about Jack Antonoff I'd call this one of the better sounding albums of recent memory, the instrumentation and layers and just general tone here is bonkers.
I have listened to this infinite times in the past 7 days. The first five songs are by far the best thing I've heard released this year. The rest is all very nice though perhaps a slight step down from the ridiculous highs it opens on. Def an aoty contender for me as of this moment and very much wish a show would be before Feb
This band will be opening for Clairo at a few dates and are doing a headlining run of their own. Album comes out in March.
