Well this is exciting

 

Not excited about another Jack Antonoff produced album but I am here for more Clairo.

 

imo after NFR! jack should be able to produce anything without there being too much concern

My problem is that he gets into very narrow scopes and then everything he produces in that period of time sounds similar. I want some diversity.

Yeah that’s valid. I think he can certainly be hit or miss, but the highs are so high that I’m always optimistic. I am glad he’s listed as a co-producer rather than the sole producer, though.

Agreed on that. I think only one artist he works with really pushes him and that’s Annie, everyone else sticks to what he’s into at the time. Taylor might be a bit more demanding than others and keeps him focused as well.

 

Pretty easily one of my favorite things I've heard all year.. damn

Incredible interview. This is going to be a very special album. From the moment I heard Bags, I knew this type of record was inevitable. Hell yes.

 

Man. This is going to be special.

 

It's a nice album...the production is good, but it isn't as immediate as Immunity was for me. It's very slow-tempo, there's nothing like "Bags" on here which is still my favorite song she has released. I'm sure the album will grow on me with repeated listens though.

 

Doesn't seem like something I'll enjoy, but I'll at least give it a shot
