The only two songs on the record I’m not sold on are “Softly” and “Feel Something”. Everything else is great.

Why these songs? They don’t seem that radically different from the rest of the album? I think they’re great.

    hey you lil piss baby

I think I'm gonna go to that tour. I've been keeping an eye on the Khalid tickets on StubHub here in hopes that they drop low enough that I can justify going just for her, but this is probably a better deal. November is already looking stacked with shows though, so we'll see.

  8. Fuck me she’s here the same night as White Reaper, a show I’ve been amped about for months and that I’ve convinced friends to buy tickets to

I know I basically said as much already, but the jump in quality between this record and her back catalog is wild. She executed a vision here and created something cohesive and engaging as a body of work. Her old stuff is cool, but this is the Clairo I'm excited to support going forward.

    I was right. Prestigious

the other day I was absent mindedly whistling the chorus to Sofia when my friend cut in with “ooooohh caught in a bad romance” and now all I want is a mashup of those two songs

  19. I know John Mayer sucks (as a person anyways) but "Sofia" 100% sounds like this single and I love it

Stumbled onto this one through "Friends Are Listening To" on Apple Music and so glad that I did. One of those albums I just played through a few times at work and just loved it more each time.

Random thought: There are moments throughout this album where I'm like, "holy shit, this is the album I wish Liz Phair would make today" - North is straight up Liz Phair.
