Perfect song, one of my favorite albums ever

 

I was listening to ‘Impossible’ earlier today. Top 5 album of 2019 for sure

 

i need to give her other albums another listen, i love love love this one though

 

I love Immunity and Charm but I could never get into Sling

 

Immunity is the one. This one is good, too.

I don't even think Sling is bad, but it's kind of like listening to nothing. It's so light and delicate and quiet that it's hard for me to actually clock any of the songs.

 

Sling really came alive in the live performances, wish those versions were the studio versions

 

First 5-6 songs of sling are my favorite thing she’s done, but it def meanders a bit after that. She hasn’t missed in my book.

 

Immunity is like a hair above Charm for me because the highs are higher, but both are pretty much flawless imo. Sling was very dull, though Amoeba is kind of undeniable. If it’s the step she had to take to get to Charm then it was worth it

 

Sling might be my favourite from her. I’ve never understood the backlash against it.

 

It's not bad, it's just now what I expected the follow up to Immunity to be and it didn't click with me right away

 

I feel like I've been neuralyzed by the Men in Black every time I finish it

 

Immunity didn’t click for me until after Sling, which I think makes a big difference. I get why it’s not what people wanted as a follow up. I do think there’s some absolutely outstanding stuff on it though even if it’s not as tight a full listen as the others (which if that’s the standard, Charm runs circles around its predecessors).
