I had to sell my ticket for her Philly show on the Sling tour because I was sick as hell that week. My two friends went though and they also complained about how boring it was. And they said the crowd was even dead during the Sling songs.

But I still would’ve liked to go see her, but they’re just pricing me out too much with these prices

 

Saw her twice on Sling and she was awesome both times, especially the second. Her band is amazing and her voice was so good you could have convinced me she was running lead tracks. The crowd was dead for the actual Sling tour show, though - that much is true.

I paid $20 on secondary for a 45ish face value ticket. 80 is a juuump

 

Her ny show sold out immediately so hopefully I get something

But yeah definitely more shows I second guess

 

i’ve seen her twice, once a few years ago when she was pretty recently coming out of online virality and then last year on her tight band low key jazzy shit and both were very very good

 

This album really unfolds into something special the more you listen to it. A lot of the instrumental flourishes remind me of Mac DeMarco or Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino, both complimentary. Not as varied as Immunity, but more fleshed out than Sling, and I love the warm retro-production she's settled into.

I take back my initial reaction, I’m loving this album for different reasons than Immunity. It’s super comforting.

 

This has grown on me a lot.

Think I’m about to take the word of people in there that have said she’s improved life over the years and grab some tickets to see her next week. Love this record too much to not give her a second chance, and an early autumn outdoors show in Portland feels like the perfect way to experience it

 

This tour was soooo sick. She even rearranged most of the older songs to be in Charm style

 

Her being friends with Freddie is so funny. I wish Freddie wasn't all over Kanye's shit recently.

Was going to say - her live show definitely improved and I’m glad I went but good lord she has some of the most obnoxious fans. And (at the risk of knowing exactly how this sounds) it was absolutely not just the men lol. But maybe there was a particular group closer to the front or something that she’s specifically referencing

 

All three Toronto shows cancelled due to “extreme exhaustion” (just quoting her wording), she cancelled night one earlier tonight 15 minutes after doors opened and people were already inside.
