Was hosting guests for a wedding we were in all last week and had no chance to check this out. Excited to finally get to it today!
"Echo" is awesome. This rest of this is super pleasant, not as immediate as Immunity but I am actually excited to spend more time with this!
Juna->Add Up My Love->Echo is a ridiculous little run of songs. There is so much cool keyboard stuff in particular that takes these songs to the next level. (Which I have to say as a Sling defender was one of my favorite things about the best songs there too.)
I’m sorry but this is ridiculous This is a regular general admission ticket, the cheapest option to get into the building.
Bloody hell! I paid less for the Korn headline outdoor gig in London I am going to next week that came to around £70 and that had a 5 band supporting line up!!
Every band needs a Robert Smith. Still can’t believe how low those tickets were last year and I actually got money back too
When I saw Clairo in 2019 it was one of the more dull shows I’ve seen, which seems to be the majority opinion of anyone I’ve talked to in the last few years that has also seen her. I’d put myself at risk to be fooled twice but not for those prices
The thing is (someone in the tour thread responded with just “Don’t go”) I want to go, I want to support artists, but for $80+ fees (and I’m seeing people are paying well over $100 for other dates) it makes that very difficult! I know touring is expensive, I get it, but it’s just a bit frustrating.
I saw her at coachella 2019 and it was ridiculously boring. She’s actually super good live these days though
Yeah she has absolutely improved live which is why I was interested in grabbing a ticket but it’s still just a tough sell at $80 before fees.
Yeah I think the stylistic change is why I’d be willing to try again if it were reasonably affordable. Seeing the band on the Fallon performance inspires confidence
