The Hurry and the Harm is easily my favorite. Idk if it was the time in my life that it came out, but that album just speaks to me. I remember singing along to those songs during my commutes all the time.
New song is very good. Still has the folky vibe of If I Should Go Before You but feels "bigger" and more atmospheric.
I really like this song, but I can’t help thinking every time I hear a City and Colour song that I want the acoustic version.
Very sad. I still really love those Helicon Blue songs. Amazing version of "Missing". That song has been super helpful to me many of times.
Damn that sucks! Dallas has had a pretty rough year of losses. I used to jam Helicon Blue all the time.
I’ve been trying to fill in the gaps on some albums I need on vinyl and was disappointed when I came across BMYL and LH sold out on the webstore. No matter what I always gravitate back to those. Actually liked Astronaut too even though I didn’t care for the others in between
He was really great last night. Even beyond the sound of his voice he probably the most impressive singing technique I've ever seen. Played almost 2 hours and looked and sounded like he easily could have gone for 2 more
I am unable to live with myself after missing the Rain When I Die cover. Absolutely unable. But saw everything up until then and it was wonderful.
In The Water I Am Beautiful was also an insane surprise, I didn't look at the setlist beforehand bc I wanted to be surprised and that was not the song I was expecting when he said "this is a very very old song"
Liking this new song more than most of his recent album stuff. Kind of a similar vibe, just toned down instrumentally and allows a little more attention on the music maybe.
