I was just wondering yesterday when we'd see new C&C.......now i'm excited.

 

Australian itunes has a live album called 'Guide Me Back Home' up, coming out October 5th. Not sure if that had been announced before or if it will be the announcement tomorrow.

 

The clips from the video are live clips so this checks out.

Kind of disappointing if it’s that and not a studio album announcement honestly.

actually very into that. been a while since we got a set of high quality live recordings of Dallas. i'm sure the new album will come along soon enough.

 

While I was hoping for new stuff, "Live" is one of my favorite live albums so I'm expecting this to be pretty great too.

 

I wonder if there will be alexisonfire covers on this one.

 

He didn't play any full covers on the tour this was recorded during, but there were a few snippets.

I'm okay with a live album. While he isn't even really close to my favorite musician anymore like he was when I growing up, there isn't really anyone that puts on a more pristine live show.

There's a live album he did during the Sometimes era. There's a couple of EPs as well.

 

I like some of the songs from those live sessions because they were stripped down.

 

I'm listening to BMYL right now and sometimes I forget how much I truly love it. Except for maybe the opening track.

 

I'm on a Dallas kick right now and was just reminded of this great great song

The Grace is one of my favorite vocal performance by Dallas actually. Also the other song on that single is great too

I had never heard this until we were discussing The Grace back in September and I’ve listened to it probably about 100 times since. It’s great

 

Funny this got bumped because I've been listening to the live album ALOT over the past couple of weeks. He has never sounded better.

His "Twilight" cover is absolutely gorgeous. If y'all have listened, I highly recommend it.
