Love how hard he's leaning into the blues influence on this one. Probably my fav of his since Little Hell at least. Title track, After Disaster, Hard Hard Time and The Water Is Coming are all really special

 

Really solid first listen

 

This album is really hitting on a Sunday morning with a cup of coffee and the first true sunrays of spring coming through the window. Haven't liked a C&C album this much in a long time.

 

I think this is his best album since the debut. The prominence of the electric lead guitar does wonders for his sound.
