So sad. I’m sure this record is and always will be really difficult for Dallas as it’s creation and release is so intertwined with this tragedy.

There are some good songs on this, but I still wish he recorded alternate/acoustic versions of each album.
Hot take: I’m more interested in his full-band arrangements at this point. I think the atmosphere he’s able to create in his newer work is really fucking cool.
I will add this one’s full band (atmosphere) is more enjoyable to me than the last two prior. His voice is always great though.
Totally agree. I think this is easily his best full band album as well. Really dig this and will be diving in deeper over the next week. Was a really weird day for me listening to this and the new Issues album back and forth as they couldn’t be different mood setters.
