citizen's lineups have been ace lately

 

Trying to get tickets online but screen just keeps going blank

 

just got tickets, will be my first time seeing these guys. listening to As You Please to celebrate

 

I wonder if there's any truth to this?

Did anybody ever get a rip of "remix and oddities" tape that came with deluxe vinyl? I haven't had a tape player since 2001.

 

Mat rocking the fanny pack like it's 1996. LOVE these boys/this band.

 

Your show is so soon now! Me too can't wait. Playing Youth now will be doing a full discography run a few times before my date on Wednesday.

 

Saw these guys last night. Really weird crowd but they sounded great.

 

Was the setlist the same as it's been lately?

 

This was my first time seeing them but looking at recent sets on setlist.fm it was pretty much the same.

Huh, wasnt this a headliner though? I would’ve expected a few more songs

 

Yeah it was. Pronoun and Oso Oso played for about 30 minutes each and Citizen was on for 45-50 minutes. I would’ve liked for them to play a bit longer but it was nice getting home by 11 haha. Angel Du$t was supposed to play too but they couldn’t make it.

 

my guess is they probably added the 2 encore songs

That was for sure the hottest show I’ve ever been to and the most I’ve ever sweat for one band. Show was great though. They played thirteen songs total including an encore that, according to Mat, they said they wouldn’t do

 

So excited for the show tomorrow! What time did they go on? And what was your start time?

 

Show started at 8 and they went on probably around 10:15-10:20

 

Saw first show of tour in okc. Here’s my thoughts:

Queen of jeans were bad , no energy and very boring

Oso oso - never heard his stuff and he was amazing. Would love to see him again. It was a great set.

Teenage wrist- very aggressive and pretty solid. Could see them being huge.

Citizen: great set, 13 songs, Matt seems like a great genuine guy.

All these bands were at the mercy table talking to their fans and taking pics. Pretty cool to see

 

Queen of Jeans is sick though. I've seen them like 3 times and they've been fantastic every time, but they are kind of out of place in that line up. They're not an upbeat rock/pop punk band so I guess it makes sense why some people don't mesh with their sound.

 

I listened to EIGTH today, which I've thought has sucked for years, and it was.... actually pretty good?
