Kinda surprise the back half is so Youth heavy.
But those def seem to be the crowd favorites.

 

Wish they would still play Stain. I've also never seen Your Favorite Color and that's my favorite off EIGTH

 

Anybody else read that acronym as "eighth" every time? Haha

I was thinking of keeping this a secret but this site gave me some great questions for my interview with Max Bemis, so check this out: their press person contacted me tonight with the album asking if I would be interested in interviewing them for my new interview series, I Don't Think They Do, where I talk to artists and writers about their relationships with each other. I've only been a passive listener of this band for a few years and I have to say that I've been very impressed by every song on their new album rollout. This has unexpectedly become my anticipated for the year. This is going to be the fall record I didn't know I needed I can feel it!

 

Jeez, another new song up too. Flowerchild.
Can we not with releasing the first and last tracks of albums before release though? My biggest pet peeve when it comes to album rollouts.

 

This song is great though. Flowerchild might be my favorite so far.

Sci Fi was the best album rollout. No rollout.

 

new pressing of Youth is up on the RFC store -- Gold & Silver Starburst /3000, if anyone is interested.

 

I think this is a winter band for me, so I’m going to wait a few more weeks before trying to listen to their stuff

 

Today I've played Youth, EIGTH and right now spinning As You Please. Great fall band for me. Tbh I enjoy them year round. Undoubtedly one of my favorite bands.

 

This band fucking rules. Definitely one of my favorite bands. They still have so much potential the best is yet to come. I feel privileged to be witnessing their progression/evolution firsthand

 

Mat's brother Chris is in a band called The Flats they deserve more love. Mat sings on track 4. Great EP released earlier this year that I still return to regularly tbh

oh hearing the pianos record makes me with the citizen record sounded a lot different than it does ha.

 

I LOVE CIZ SO MUCH. Can't wait to see them live again.
