Yeah I wish this was coming to Philly, too. I'm a casual fan of AFI and love Circa and Citizen. Can't wait to see what Circa and Citizen have planned for the fall.

Mat is currently on Instagram Live playing acoustic versions of some songs. Pretty rad.

 

Finally listened to Jet with headphones was even better. Also Silo is so good. One of their very best tracks imo

 

And Cicuta. Don't forget Cicuta

Agreed that Silo and Cicuta are two of their best songs. Silo might even be my favorite song they've ever released.

Yeah, I was blown away when Silo came out. I love love love EIGTH but I can't pretend I wasn't a little dissapointed on first listen it didn't go more in that direction.

 

I think that's why I wasn't too high on the album at first. Silo is a tough song to top so my expectations were probably too high.

 

Seriously? You never heard it until now? That's surprising!

 

Yea and I really liked it. I listened to jet again today, so good.. left me wanting more for sure

 

Seeing Silo live was sweet! I forgot what song it was at first and thought it was a new song because it felt so fresh.

 

You should play Cicuta and Nail in your hand too. For me Ciz is one of those bands that I basically dig everything they put out

Don't get the adoration for Cicuta but Nail & Silo are crazy good singles/b sides

 

Cicuta isn't spectacular but i still really like it. I enjoy all their songs to varying degrees
