This volume sucks compared to the first one. The alternative versions of Blue Monday and Thin Air are boring.

Also, why did they add the studio version of Yellow Love? Lol

 

Honestly, I hope they just play Glass World front to back.

Really playing out the album lately after just liking it as it came up sporadically the last 4 months. They’re kinda similar with the indie pop tilt, but it reminds me of my relationship with Hundredth’s album last year. Liked it enough to keep it around, then when I started playing just the year’s new stuff and it came up more often I found myself seeking it out intentionally and ended up being one of my favorites of the year. This record is climbing...

 

Huge Person L energy from that track, pretty cool. Woulda stuck out on the record though, glad it’s a b-side

 

Yeah the song is chill but it’s definitely half baked IMO

 

Wish it had a third section/was longer. Very cool tho. LIYGW remains up there in my top albums so far this year.

 

LIYGW could potentially be my AOTY. Really hoping things don’t get worse and that I can see them on tour this Winter:

 

The final three tracks of Glass World are easily my favorite Citizen tracks. They’re all so beautiful.

Stef Chura on the bill is awesome, she’s so good

 

That should have been the full tour lineup. Nothing against Drug Church or Glitterer but Foxing and Stef Chura are just so good.

 

These Glass Mixes (specifically 1 & 3) have completely changed my view of this album. Went from strongly liking it to full on loving the album. Definitely my front runner for AOTY.

 

Definitely going to Toledo. Excited for that lineup

This is Matt’s recording garage where they recorded LIYGW so I believe it. I’m surprised they took so long to release it but it’s probably smart to keep engagement over the record until tour starts.

 

Odd question, but anyone wanna be friends for the night and attend the Durham, NC show with me? My fiance is going to be out of town so I have an extra ticket that I would hate to see go to waste!
