I noticed on the poster included with my vinyl order that they included some blue stars that mimic the stars from the As You Please artwork. Any other nods to the past that I missed?

 

hadn’t listened since Youth but this is a nice album

 

Do I like this album or do I really just like Silent Alarm? Hard to say.

 

Pedestal is my jam, I think it's because it reminds me of The American Scene. Anyway, this is growing on me. Just wish it gave me an emo anthem like Medicine. I do think this is their most consistent front to back.

 

This is definitely not an Emo album. This is a huge step forward for them.

This has been on HEAVY rotation for a week. Still not into Fight Beat but Edge of the World is absolutely mint.

This thing is so damn good. Can't stop won't stop listening.

 

Non-native English speaking person here, so excuse my stupid question. How do you understand this line from "Black and Red"?

"I know you better than yourself"

Is it supposed to mean "I know you better than you know yourself"?

 

This is all I listened to this weekend, so good and gets better every time

I love this album. Each song becomes my new favorite until it's over and I repeat.

 

I wasn't sure about this record at first but it has really grown on me and is one of my favourites of the year so far.

 

Alright, it’s official y’all: this is the band’s best record. It just keeps getting better with every listen.

 

Any one know what variant the retail variant is?

This is easily their best album

 

I think this is the sort of growth they needed to show and it can easily be an upward trajectory for them. Getting out of that RFC bubble.

 

Just listened to this and I dig it. I had to make sure I wasn’t accidentally listening to the faint when that first song came on.

 

this is way way better than their old stuff but it still doesn't stick with me.
