Winter Buds is a great song.

fight beat sounds like citizen trying to be early Radiohead. And I dig it.

 

The title track really hit me on a third listen. This record is reaaaaaally growing on me.

 

Checked out fight beat cause the comments had me interested. Easily the best song I’ve heard from this. That’s an outlier right?

 

Fight Beat and Glass World are my favs so far but every song is pretty great.

Echoing Fight Beat being a similar vibe to B&C's For a Walk but I think that style fits Ciz better.

 

maybe it's because i miss the moody EIGTH sound but so far Fight Beat is my favorite from this. gonna have to give this some more fair listens though

 

Dude, Spice rules. Was actually listening to them earlier in the week and gave them another spin after seeing your comment. Sorry to derail the thread, but they're already in the studio again with Jack Shirley. Stoked to see what they come up with next.

 

Alright, I’m on my 4th listen now. Scratch that, we may have a classic on our hands.

 

Fight Beat's restraint is impressive but I do wish it dipped into a sick breakdown or something instead of ending like it does lol

This isn't as "out there" as I was expecting it to be actually. I find a fair bit of comparison between this and As You Please.
I'm really enjoying the majority of it though. Fight Beat I will likely skip (Big Mouth should have been here instead), loving the title track and Edge of The World. Some mint stuff here!

 

Quite possibly the only album I can think of where every song is better than the last. Not a huge fan of the first half of the record but it steadily grows and the final three tracks are great. The closer is incredible.

 

Only like a few songs on this, unfortunately. And the beginning of “I Want To Kill You” reminds me of MCR/Gerard for some reason.

 

This is so good. Can’t wait to dance to these songs with a crowd!

In future, I hope that they expand on the weirdness of Fight Beat
