Good songs. Absolutely love the last album and this sounds like a natural progression from that.

    idk man

Shocked it took so long to make this thread!

Excited for the record. Highs and Lows comes on in my brain at rather random times.

Loved Halcyon Blues on first listen. Made me appreciate Highs and Lows more.

2nd track didnt do a ton for me but highs and lows is still one of my favorite songs by them

    Newbie

New song is lovely, this is one of my most anticipated albums of the year. I'm probably in the minority but Glass World and Calling the Dogs are my favorite albums they've put out so far, and this one is shaping up to be great too. I just wish it wasn't still two full months away!

same, but add EIGTH into the mix. still my favorite of theirs. i love Youth and AYP, but i definitely gravitate towards the others more

Except for Calling The Dogs which I never return to, their discography is a total toss up for what I’m throwing on when I’m craving Citizen. It’s cool that they have so many albums that stand apart from each other while still sounding identifiably like Citizen

Album very much sounds like a sequel to Calling the Dogs. Almost too much with the same shouty vocal melody. But I'm a CTD fan. So, it's a good listen.

I liked Calling The Dogs the most of their stuff since Youth

but also listen to Mat’s solo stuff way more frequently

Exactly what I wanted to hear. Calling The Dogs is their best album, IMO.

Yeah thats got me more hyped

  19. Not the most hopeful news for me as I find CTD to be their most uneven album, but at the very least the two singles indicate this will sound miles better than that record to me, which will probably help

a burst and I'm awake now Supporter

Oh that's unfortunate, I didn't like CTD at all

  21. Calling the Dogs is maybe my favorite of theirs since EIGTH

I'll take pretty much anything from them at this point (except for a direct rehash of Youth, which i think a small/annoying subset of fans would love). their track record over the past decade and change might be one of the best in the genre.

gonna throw Calling the Dogs on the turntable a bit later.
