Glad to see all the love for the album in here. Stain > Ten > Yellow Love > Ring of Chain might be my favorite stretch of songs on any of their albums.

 

You guys are convincing me to go back to this, it's the only album of theirs that just hasn't clicked

 

ADORE that album. Really wish it was a tour but it’s clear they view it as the outlier in their discog

 

Mat just said in the discord that the EIGTH show announcement is now next week.

 

I love Heaven but I’m far more into their current era with Glass World and Dogs.

It’s also a record that wasn’t nearly as warmly received so I’m not surprised that they’re keeping it limited on the anniversary plans.

my favorite citizen album… i wouldve loved for it to be a widespread tour but it makes sense as the record wasnt well received back in the day. sending my regards from MA!

 

10th anniversary edition of EIGTH! Nail In Your Hand is finally on streaming. full digital with a second disc of demos out Friday. vinyl out in October.

 

Good day to spin that record, I think it's their most interesting at this point

 

will forever ride for this record. people were so negative on it as a follow up to youth but it holds up so well. ring of chain is one of my faves of their whole career

EIGTH is by far my favorite release of theirs. I adore it so much. Super glad Nail In Your Hand is on streaming; I would revisit that song way more than I currently do if it wasn't so much of a hassle to hop off Spotify and switch to Youtube for a single track. Amazing song for sure.

 

Feel like the pendulum is suddenly swinging pretty hard in the other direction on this album lol I don’t remember people feeling so strongly about it. It is an okay album to me

 

Life in Your Glass World is their best, I'd say

a close second for me. lots of fun memories from that album cycle. EIGTH was my first Citizen album though, and i wish they'd return to that sound. hence why it's my favorite
