This album is still the shit. Their best album in my opinion.

One of my best friends is designing the lighting and visuals for that Turnover tour and I saw the first draft and it's absolutely insane.

Was hoping they’d go crazy with stage design especially since I’m seeing them in an arena

Oh yeah, first time (to my understanding) that they're doing something of this scale. Y'all are in for a treat.

Hell yeah! Wonder if I'll get more EIGTH tracks when they open for Turnover. That'd be dope.

i just need them to reissue this on vinyl with bonus tracks like Nail In Your Hand. i've had the mp3 for years, but it'd be sick to have a physical higher quality version that isn't just a flexidisc. oddly enough, i almost picked this up a couple days ago, but decided to hold off in case a reissue was coming.

regardless of what happens, i'm very excited. this is my favorite album of theirs, and it deserves more love.

They’re announcing the one off EIGTH show on Monday.

oh man, they're amazing live, but i hope it's more than a show.

I’m in Mat’s discord. It’s just a one off show in Detroit. October 11th is the tentative date but we’ll see Monday if that’s the final date. He also talked about doing a EIGTH anniversary edition but only selling it at the show. I hope they change their mind about that.

that'd be a huge bummer if that's the case.

My fav album from them. Just some wildly heavy moments that I adore.

That era ruled even though I remember the Youth songs still getting the bigger reaction at shows

Weren't reactions for it pretty meh back then? I never got it and still don't because this band hasn't released a bad album. As You Please is still my current favorite though,

  23. Definitely polarizing iirc, mostly because it leans so far into the discordant heavy stuff (which rules). They've proven to be one of the more versatile bands from the whole 2010s RFC roster.

I was really into EIGTH when it came out but I admit I def don't come back to it a ton. I'd love them to revisit some of the darker and heavier sounds on that record, especially Mat screaming.

  25. I had a really hard time adjusting to it when it came out, but I probably reach for it more than any of their other records at this point. Not sure if it's my favorite, but it's really, really interesting and unique to their catalog.
